Digital Catalog Module Introduction to the Digital Catalog Module My newest MAS90 / MAS200 product adds complete, highly searchable vendor catalog data which is available to the I/M, P/O and S/O modules.  Now, your sales and purchasing staff can have the complete electronic catalogs from all of your vendors available at their fingertips.  The Catalog database is separate from your inventory module, but individual items can be instantly added to Inventory when you need to order or sell them. The new Catalog file contains several preset search indexes, as well as up to eight user defined search parameters for each manufacturer.  Naturally, the Digital Lookup Engine provides super-fast access to every search index, which is especially critical considering the typical substantial size of many catalog files.  There is virtually no wait to display the search list, even with millions of catalog item records. Purchase Order Entry, Sales Order Entry and S/O Invoice Data Entry are enhanced with a new [Catalog] button which opens the Manufacturer Catalog Inquiry panel.  New catalog items can be added to Inventory on-the-fly; one simple function creates the new inventory item and adds the new line item. The Catalog Import program updates your catalog database and each catalog item which has been exported into Inventory.
