Distribution Service Module Introduction to the Distribution Service Module My flagship MAS90 / MAS200 product adds automated shipping, receiving and labeling functions to MAS90 / MAS200 in a native applications module.  The Distribution Service module provides a fast and comprehensive bar code shipping, receiving and labeling solution for large volume shippers. The Shipping menu contains all of the power of commercial shipping software in a fully integrated MAS90 application.  It features the fastest performing Shipping Entry program available, optimized for bar code pick and pack, scan to ship operations.  With a feature set vastly superior to the StarShip Integration, D/S shipping provides a fast and comprehensive automated solution for large volume shippers. Ship Your Way - Only the Distribution Service module enables you to ship: from Sales Orders from open S/O Invoices from A/R History Invoices Manual Shipping Entry Invoice Your Way - Only the Distribution Service module enables you to invoice: immediately for the current shipment later from single or multiple current shipments later from single or multiple updated shipments later from all current and updated shipments manually, regardless of shipping activity It automatically handles Consignee and Freight Collect customers, and enables you to charge freight based on the actual shipping cost, or by shipment, package, product line, item, and/or order amount. It also prints MaxiCode compliant UPS shipping labels along with all of the typical shipping documents, and provides full rates, services and accessorial charge tables, invoice generation, comprehensive shipping history with detailed drill down into individual package contents, and much more. Best of all, it requires no external software or application servers - and you can use any Internet Browser to upload your end-of-day shipping manifest to UPS. The Receiving menu enables scan to receive functions, and includes two of the most versatile item thermal label printing programs available anywhere. The Inquiry menu provides Shipping in progress and Shipping History inquiry, Upload History inquiry, Receiving Inquiry, and links to several of the commonly used MAS90 Inquiry programs. The Reports menu provides several shipping and setup table reports. The Setup menu provides the most comprehensive set of programs designed to let you precisely tailor the module to perform your shipping procedures your way, and to automate the system to the highest degree possible.
