Distribution Service Receiving menu The D/S Receiving Menu programs automate P/O Receipt of Goods Entry (P/O and I/M modules are required) by adding "scan to receive" functionality, and on demand item thermal label printing. Incoming products are entered into a new P/O Receipt of Goods program which has been optimized for use with hand-held bar code scanners.  This program has the ability to translate vendor item or UPC bar code numbers into your Inventory Item or S/O Miscellaneous or Special Item numbers using multiple translation tables.  New on-the-fly entry of translation entries is supported as well.  You must install the P/O module to use this program. A Vendor Item / Barcode Number cross reference file enables the system to automatically substitute your inventory item or S/O miscellaneous item number for any vendor item or UPC number.  Translation of Alias Item number bar codes is available from the I/M Alias Item Number file. The Receiving menu also includes an Item Thermal Label Printing program, and a unique Quick Label Printing program for you to design and print any number of miscellaneous thermal labels. D/S Receiving Menu programs Receiving Data Entry automates P/O receipt of goods entry by scanning item numbers as the product is being received into inventory (requires P/O and I/M modules to be installed).  Automatic alias or vendor item number recognition substitutes your I/M Item or S/O Miscellaneous Item number for vendor or UPC codes for, using the D/S Vendor Item/Barcode Maintenance file or the I/M Item number from the I/M Alias Item file (level 3.3 and above). Receiving Entry Audit Report prints a detailed report of your current receiving data entry. Item Thermal Label Printing prints your custom item label on any impact, laser or thermal label printer, with completely customizable forms for all printer types; does not require any external software to drive commercial thermal label printers. Vendor Item Maintenance maintains a cross reference file for use by the Shipping and Receiving programs to automatically substitute your I/M Item or S/O Miscellaneous Item Numbers for any vendor part or UPC number. Quick Label Printing prints miscellaneous labels for EPL thermal label printers.
