Local Events The Libertarian Party General Membership Meeting is held the 2nd Sunday of each month at: Paolo's Restaurant 133 W Lincoln Ave. - Myerstown, Pa. (That's on the north side of Rt. 422, between Rt. 501 and Rt. 645) Guests are Always Welcome! Drop by for a no-host lunch starting at 1:00 P.M. The business meeting starts at 2:00 P.M. Please watch the schedule on our home page for occasional changes in the schedule. We are recruiting candidates to run in each General Election, and there is usually a Ballot Access drive under way during the spring and summer.  As a "minor" political party in Pennsylvania, we are required to collect large numbers of signatures in order to get our candidates on the ballot.  Volunteers are needed to collect signatures.  We particularly need people who can collect signatures at polling places on Primary Election Day. This fall, please help us get our candidates the publicity they need to compete with the old-party candidates.  Even if all you do is spread the word by talking about us to your friends and family, it will help.  If you can spare just a little time, help us distribute literature - pamphleteering is fun and easy.  We need to make people aware that they can have good, honest representation from people, not politicians, who are dedicated to the preservation and restoration of your individual Liberty.
