Membership Drive and Candidate Recruitment
If you're like most people, you think taxes are too high,
and that the federal, state and local governments are too large, too
costly, and too intrusive on your personal rights and liberties. You vote
regularly, but wish you had more choices besides the two major parties,
and you don't want to keep picking the lesser of two evils.
We are here to prove that you do have another choice.
If you truly believe in the principles of Individual Liberty and
Limited Government, and you want to preserve the Constitutional Republic which
the Founding Fathers gave us, then you should join us, help us grow into a more
powerful political force, and consider running for office. Our
goal is to have a full slate of candidates in every election, every year.
information about being a Candidate for Office.
The Libertarian Party already has hundreds of members
elected to local and municipal office, more that the combined total of
all other minor parties. Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura proved
that you don't have to run on a major party ticket to win a major office.
And, we don't need to win a majority of seats in any state or national
congress to start making a difference. It will only take a few
victories for us to start having a positive effect in government.
It's all up to you.
